Last month I was absolutely thrilled to photograph my first set of twins for a Fresh 48 session at Riverside Methodist Hospital. I showed up at the hospital to find the room filled with family. It was wonderful! One set of grandparents was there to welcome the new little ones. These twin boys are also so lucky to be getting two big sisters and one big brother to show them the ropes. I loved being around this family. There was so much love in that hospital room.
Mom, Charlene, was so radiant and so relaxed! She did not seem fazed at all to be welcoming two more children into her family. We all got a kick out of it when a nurse came in to check on them. She was so sure everyone was pulling her leg when they said that all five children were theirs. The three older children each wanted to hold a baby. We joked that they should have had triplets instead of twins. But I tell you – I am sure Charlene could handle it!!
The oldest daughter is one of my students at church and she is such a delight. She is already such a great big sister to the other kids. I know she is going to be such a help to her mom.
Both babies were so sleepy but Baby G roused a bit for us and we got to see his cute little eyes.
These little boys are so blessed. They are already so loved and well taken care of. It was so fun to be able to capture some of this family’s first moments with their new little guys.
Fresh 48 photography sessions are such a delight to shoot. If you are interested in scheduling a session to document some of your baby’s first moments contact me here.
