I haven’t shared any personal work in a while so I thought it was time. The first set are some pictures from a little photo shoot I did with my two youngest kids back in April when there were still beautiful flowers blooming on the tress.
I still have some other darling pictures from this shoot that I just haven’t had the time to edit yet. Hopefully I will get back to them soon.
These next ones were taken over the last couple of months with one of my favorite subjects, my son. He is so cute and actually rather happy to pose for me these days.
I took these one for a the theme of “boyhood.” I wanted to show that boyhood could really mean anything depending on the boy. And my boy loves Barbie!
With my little friend in our kitchen:
On sister’s bed:
And just some of his silly faces:
These next two were chosen on two different weeks to be featured on the Blog Fearless and Framed, which focuses on lifestyle photography.
You can see how much these kids love their big sister! my other daughter was gone at gymnastics when we took this picture or she would have totally been in on the action. Find it in this blog post.
Every night when I go to put my son to bed he runs and hides in our closet. He thinks it is a big game. I finally got a pic of him one night and I love how I captured his impish grin. You can find it in this blog post.
This next picture was chosen by the blog Snappy Mama for the theme “technology and people.” It’s funny when my kids watch movies on Netflix they always have to snuggle close together to watch on a small screen since we don’t have a T.V. But usually it is at least on a laptop.
This picture was chosen for the weekly theme “freedom” over on the My 4 hens Blog.
My husband and I do love to dance with each other in the kitchen.
This last one was a labor of love that I have been contemplating for a while. My family appeased me and posed for this on the 4th of July. they are so good to me!
Just super cute. I love the picture of them hugging. How sweet is that!
